ABOUT THIS COURSE

THE SCHIFF SHOW Episode 22 – “ "The Voices in Your Headset: Demystifying ATC"”

Hosted by renowned pilot and aviation expert CAPTAIN BRIAN SCHIFF

In this episode of THE SCHIFF SHOW, host Brian Schiff welcomes air traffic controller Marcus Miller (#PropHatCat) for a fast-moving, practical question-and-answer conversation from both sides of the frequency. In a candid PILOT-to-CONTROLLER back-and-forth, they will tackle real-world communication, expectations, procedures, workload, weather deviations, sequencing, missed approaches, emergencies, en route communications, and the small decisions that can make every flight safer and smoother.

No jargon for jargon’s sake—just direct questions, clear answers, and useful insight for pilots who want to become easier to work with on the radio and better prepared for what happens behind the scope.
